Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

My check engine light comes on and off for short periods of time on my 900 s 1997 when outside temps drop below 10 centigrade.does not affect running of car,any ideas out there cheers andy

Hi Andy,

If you could get the code that the engine warning light is flashing would help. It will flash a long flash then a short flash.

But it sounds as though you got a problem with the outside tempreture sensor.

Thanks

My driver side window ,mirror and lock do not work. stopped all at the same time. I checked the fuse and it works. All other power windows, locks and mirror control work. On drivers door. Please help...

sorry
I am having the same problem with my 9-3
Planning to open the door compartment to get a better look.
Also have read that it could be a bad wire in the harness leading from the car to the door.

My 2004 SAAB 9-3 one touch windows don't work properly.

I'm not positive on Saab, but I know this works for Audi and it's worth a try: Roll the window down. Then close it as you did, holding the button. Once the window is closed, release the button and then quickly tap it in the same direction. That may be all you have to do. It works for Audi and BMW so it's at least worth a try.

I have a 2006 Saab 93T

If only the one door lock is not working, the actuator has probally gone bad. An electrical problem may exist, but is not what I would go after first. Check for power and ground signals at the actuator(will have to remove the inner door panel) if you have power and ground, replace the actuator

Saab 93 2001 front windows blow a fuse putting windows down

The window motor is working too hard go to Napa and ask for the silicon lube made for windows and lube up the window rims and guides this should allow the motor to work less hard.

SRS light blinking then staying on?

A flashing/steady-on SRS light indicates a problem with the SR system. Because the system contains an explosive, it is best serviced by a Saab trained and certified tech; you can be seriously hurt working on it yourself. SRS system problems can be diagnosed and fixed, and the light reset, by the dealer or trained workshop tech.

Pulling the bulb from the warning lights on the panel treats the symptom, without curing the cause - you've still got whatever fault triggered it in the first place! Definitely not recommended for a safety feature. (You wouldn't just pull the bulb if your ABS light stayed on, would you? Wouldn't you want to know why?)

The best source of info on this car is the "Bentley Bible" aka the Saab 900 Official Service Manual, costs about $40 from Amazon!

16 valve manual: http://www.amazon.com/Saab-900-Valve-Service-Manual/dp/0837603137

8 valve manual :http://www.amazon.com/Eight-Official-Service-Manual-1981-1988/dp/0837603102

Get the appropriate manual for your car and enjoy the Saab!

Hope this info helps; if it does, please give a "thumbs up"

Thanks

Driver's Side Window Won't Stay Up

As mentioned here, this worked for me on a 55 reg:

Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. Then follow the calibrate instructions that can be found under "Windows" in the owner's manual. Took less than 5 minutes in all to fix.
