Question about 2005 Ford F-150
It is correct that there is only 1 fuse for both turn signals on the truck ( feeding the flasher relay ). The trailer tow adapter has a fuse for each side.
When you turn on the hazard lamps, does it work ?
thinking either contact problem in the MFS ( Multifunction Switch ) or a problem with the socket ( as posted above )

It is likely a bad contact that has gotten corroded or the ground wire is bad. Take the bulb back out and look and see if the contacts are corroded. Find the ground wire from the lamp assembly and make sure it is working. Check the running lights in that assembly as well. Then when you are sure that is all nice and clean all that is left is a damaged wire in the harness(unlikley unless you been rock crawling) Or the switch is bad in the steering column. (fairly likely).
