Where is the throttle pedal sensor located on a 2002 cheverolet silverado

There is a throttle valve positioner sensor located at the end of the throttle valve shaft on the right hand end of the shaft, the sensor then bolts to the throttle body as you face the engine from the front. A defective sensor will set the check engine light and give hesitation during acceleration.

Your vehicle is not equipped with a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, but it does have a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. Here is a picture of where it is located.

My 1999 dodge durango starts but will not keep running, what will cause this

Well if the Durango starts and runs for like 15 mins and quits then won't start again untill it has cooled off a bit I would be checking the crank sensor and the pick up coil. If it starts then dies right away but will run if you hold the gas I would clean the throttle body with carb cleaner and make sure to clean around the butterfly edges inside the throttle body.

How do I replace the throttle pedal position on 2001 Durango

TPS is located on the side of the thottle body, and is secured by three torx screws.
Removing the air hat on top allows better access.

AZ has the part for ~$40 or so. TPS 333 if I recall correctly.
