Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE
OK...walk to the car and notice my remote key less didn't open the car.... may be the battery!?!?!? so I open the car with the key, try to start it, the car start right up!!! and like right before i proceed to gear in to the drive position the car goes off. No security light blinking or else... but the power lock or trunk doesn't works. I try turning the key in on position for like 20 minutes but didn't help and this is the 3rd time I try it. any suggestions?
thanks for your time!
SOUND LIKE CAR BATTERY DEAD OR WEAK. YOU HAVE LOOSE BATTERY CABLE.CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT HAVE BATTERY REPLACED AND HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT IS CHARGING THE BATTERY.
