At what mileage should I change the Timing Belt for 2007 1.6 Vtec Ford Focus?

In theory 100,000 miles / 160,000kms.

Having said that, I have never heard of anyone suffering inconvenience, breakdown or large unscheduled expenses by changing the belt early. When you do it , dont cheapskate it. Do the tensioners , they are the cause of many of the problems anyway, by siezing and frying the belt.

I have a s reg ford focus i was just wondering at what point would i need a cam belt change

60,000 miles is a great benchmark for replacement. you need a trusted technician to perform this so no damage occurs. when in doubt, refer to the owners manual.

2005 ford focus.....at what mileage do you change the timeing belt

Typically you need to replace a timing belt in the neighborhood of 60 thousand miles... Read your manual and it will say.

do not falter, some engines self destruct, bending valves, if the belt fails....

Hi, I just need the interval for timing belt change

i think it is 105,000 miles. They go much longer. It is a free wheeling engine in the U S. No damage will occur.
