Clean or replace the in cabin air filter located behind the glove box. Remove the screw that holds the limit rod the the glove box, then squeeze both sides of the glvoe box to remove from dash. The air filter is behind the removable rectangular panel. See owner's manual for complete directions. Replace the AC clutch relay, $11 from rockauto.com. The relay is located in the under hood fuse box next to the battery. It is labeled M/G CLT.

Rear a/c not blowing cold, front works fine.

If the front blows cold it would suggest that the freon level is ok. However, if the freon is low, it still may blow somewhat cold in the front and less adequate in the back. Have you had the pressures checked to verify the charge is ok? Does the rear fan motor work? There also may be a restriction or defective expansion valve in the rear causing little/no freon circulation. Another problem could be a defective/stuck blend door in the rear causing the cold air to not circulate

2005 altima blowing hot air

could be your switch, or you have a freon leak and there is no freon in the system. open hood and watch the ac pump and have them turn on and off the ac. if in engages then it is probably freon. if it doesn't check ac fuses.

I have a 2004 Trailblazer and my rear a/c starts out blowing cold air but gets warm shortly after but the front a/c keeps blowing cold air all the time???? what could cause that ????

Just a little low on freon can make it get too cold and it freezs if you in position to check the freon level you'll find with the system on high and the engine reved up the low pressure is below 25PSI. fill it to reved up is above 25 and your problem will go away. Low on freon will make it cold enough to frezze up and then warm up as the air does'nt go though the ice. it'll work good as you start up till it frezzes and after it's stopped up with ice it blows warm (it's really too cold). the more freon in the system the warmer it'll all blow because all the pressures are higher and it's the difference in pressures that make it cold.

I have a 2004 oldsmobile alero doesn't blow that

a/c that is not providing cold air is caused by a leak of freon/refrigerant. have an a/c technician check your cooling system if it has leaks. after checking, have it charged with freon.

Air Conditioner is blowing cold, but not as cold as it has been in past and should be. Freon level is fine. New air filter is in.

you may only need to add a little of 134-A to your system try these websites car A/C repair www.directgardening.com and the other one is fix & troubleshoot heating & A/C www.automedia.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your truck.

I would suggest to check the evaporator, normally found underneath the glove compartment. Check out the coils and the fan. While you are at it you can do some cleaning and see if it helps.
