Try a fuelpump pressure test, attach the gauge to the outlet tube and turn the motor over a few turns, expect 3-4 psi

How Do I change fuel and air filters on a 2002 Kia Sedona LX

Air filter, hust unclip the metal clips around the housing.
Fuel filter, undo the bolt at the top, unclip the plastic pipes either side of the filter.
Prefill the new filter with fresh clean diesel, bolt in place then pump the black knob on top of the filter to prime. If the car will not start, release the plastic pipe nearest the front of the filter and pump until fuel comes out, then refit it.

Why won't my new fuel pump in my 2002 kia sedona pump even though it's getting juice from the battery

Have you checked the injector rail with a gauge to know for sure the injectors are not getting fuel ?
If the pump is running but not pumping fuel I would think it is a clogged filter or screen in the tank.

Sometimes my kia sedona wont start, but if i try again in a few minutes it will start.

its probably a weak fuel pump. that causes excessive cranking time. try this when you try and start it: switch the key from off to on ("accessories on" not "start" position) a few times in for 3 second intervals. that will make the fuel pump prime the system more so it will start the first time. you'll probably here it running in the back. then start the engine and if its a bad fuel pump, then this time it will start right up

Kia sedona code p0088 how to fix

Have a fuel pressure check done. The code is fuel pressure to high. The fuel pressure is controlled by the fuel pressure sensor or a fuel pressure regulator. Not knowing the yaer or engine size, it could be one or both.

My kia sedona will only start when i prime the diesel filter by hand, then it runs faultlessly as long as i need to. however, within five minutes of stopping the engine it will not start again on the...

Yes it could be the pump, but also it could be a leaking injector or a clogged up diesel filter.

If the injectors are leaking they will be sucking in air and forcing the fuel back to the tank,

you can pour water around each injector to see if any are bubbling. Get the fuel filter changed and have the system bled through before replacing the fuel pump. they are very expensive.

Hope this helps
