If it runs then the fuel pump is unlikely to be the problem, the replay is located under the hood in the power distribution box.

Is the fuel pump relay getting power from the EEC relay when you turn the key on ? And then is the fuel pump relay sending power to the pump ?

Location of fuel pump on 1994 lincoln town car
The fuel pump is in the gas tank.
The relay is in the relay - fuse box in the engine compartment.

I have no power to my fuel pump in my 1998 Lincoln town car
fuel pump cutoff switch in the trunk in a 98 towncar. it is on the driverside on the top shelf in between the body and trunk lid mounting bracket. push the button on top of it and see of that works. if not theres a fuel pump relay under hood in relay box

My 94 Lincoln Town Car with 4.6L V8 sputters on cold start and sometimes cuts out when cruising. I replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, O2 sensors, TPS, and now wonder if plug wires, fuel pump, EGR...
A FAULTY FUEL PUMP.IDLE SPEED TOO LOW.A STUCK OPEN EGR VALVE AND PVC VALVE.YOU WILL HAVE TO DROP FUEL TANK TO REMOVE FUEL PUMP.

No power to fuel pump
Did you check the Inertia Switch in the trunk, power for the fuel pump goes to that, then the pump. Sometimes they will trip just by slamming the trunk lid.

1986 Lincoln Towncar will not start. I can't hear the fuel pump priming when ignition is the run position; can anybody please help me?
try restting the inertia switch in the trunk. When you turn key to "ON", the fule pump will run for only 5 seonds if the engine does not start. Listen at the fuel tank for humming of the pump. The PCM, Powertrain Control Module controls the fuel pump relay. So, when you turn key on, the power relay powers up the PCM and the PCM powers up the fuel pump relay.

Fuel pump
there is a fuel pump inertia switch in trunk. this is designed to trip and cut pump off in wreck. if it gets bumped can trigger and cut pump off it is a button you push should be a sign on side of trunk showing it
