SOURCE: need diagram for 2006 kia rio timing belt

Timing Belt Rio 2006 (Removal for 1.6L engines: ONLY 2006 CARS)

This is the same information that us Kia techs use to diagnose vehicles. Lots of useful information. For your particular vehicle, lookup a 2003 for the timing belt information. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

SOURCE: 2006 kia rio check engine light on and code P0455

A code p0455 most likely means one or more of the following has happened:

  • A loose or improperly affixed gas cap
  • A non-conforming gas cap (i.e. not factory/original brand)
  • Other leak or damaged piece in EVAP system

With a p0455, the most common repair is to:
  • Remove and reinstall the gas cap, clear the codes, and drive for a day and see if the codes come back.
  • Otherwise, replace the gas cap, and/or
  • Inspect the EVAP system for cuts/holes in tubes/hoses (you may hear a vacuum noise or smell fuel), repair if necessary

Kia rio oil overfilled 1.5 quarts by dealer

Hi I doubt it will do any harm, return the car to dealer and request answers plus request they clean the engine compartment and the car as it looks and smells awful. In future make sure you shop around before having your car dealer serviced. Jp.

As I am driving on the highway or on the interstate my car makes a noise as if the transmission is slipping and it jerks as well. The check engine light is on and my curise control button blinks when I try...

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID COULD BE LOW.DO A TRANSMISSION FLUID FILTER CHANGE IF NOT HAVE BEEN DONE FOR LONG WHILE.MAKE SURE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH WORKING.BECAUSE WHEN YOU APPLY BRAKES. YOUR TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER AND CRUISE CONTROL SUPPOSE TO DISENGAGE.IF ALL IS GOOD TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER OR TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID STICKING. MAKE SURE YOUR ENGINE WELL TUNE UP.IF ENGINE NOT TUNED UP IT WILL CAUSE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS.

Stupid question? But where does the brake fluid go on my 06 kia rio

The brake fluid resivoir should be located on the right side of the engine compartment...look a white/clear plastic compartment. The cap should read brake fluid.

04 kia rio , engine made noise than stopped ,now wont turn over.

That's what happened to mine when the timing chain broke.. my 04 cinco had about 80k miles on it at this point. Unfortunately I warped the valves when it happened so it cost a small fortune to fix :(

2005 Kia Rio.

You probobly threw a timing belt wich in turn caused damage to the valves and piston heads. I just replaced my engine because of it.
