I have a 2004.5 S40 2.4i. It is currently

I have a 2004.5 S40 2.4i. It is currently throwing codes P0171 and P0194. I have also seen P0192 recently. Any idea of what component could be suspect?

From your codes it sounds like your problem is in the fuel system.
P0171 is air-fuel ratio is lean, malfunction.
P0192 and P0194 is low pressure detected in fuel rail.
So you need to look for leak/s, fuel pressure, fuel regulator, and fuel filter. good luck.

Possible causes- Excessive resistance in the circuit
- Low or no fuel
- Wiring harness connector of the fuel pressure sensor
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Fuel Pump or fuel pump relay defective. I think this is the problem.

2004 x-type 3.0 v6 152,000 miles showed codes P0171, P0174, P2096, P2098, P0101, P0171 pd, P1000.


check for vacuum leaks or a faulty mass air flow sensor. all the codes have to do with engine too lean(too much air).
