O.k you need to take out the seven millimeter bolt near the center top of the assembly ... then take a good size flat head screwdriver in behind the whole assembly and with a quick motion pop the assembly forward with the screwdriver and it will pop out forward

I have a 2004 Jeep Gran Cherokee Limited - the passenger side low beam headlight bulb was out so I opened the hood to see if I could easily access the bulb, realized its in a tight space, what is the...

Hello Harry,

You need to remove the headlight assembly. to do this with the hood open looking down on the headlight you will see one screw remove this screw then grasp the upper outboard and lower inboard corners of the headlight and pull outward.

This will give you access to the bulb sockets. When instilling the ne light bulbs be careful not to touch the glass part of the bulb any oil even a slight amount from your fingers will drastically reduce the life of the bulb.

on the 2004 grand cherokee, you have to remove the bolt that hold the light in. if you open the hood and look at the headlight, there is a bolt that go all of the way through the headlight, remove it and gently pull out on the whole assembly.
