My 2002 BMW 330i is still running hot have not checked the head gasket, but could it be a gasket problem if the oil is clean and there is not smoke from rear? They bled the coolant system; they drove it...

Do you have oil in the coolant tank? Is your coolant greyish in color? If so then your headgasket is in deed blown. If you do not see a leak, and you are sure that the air is bled out, then the engine is burning your coolant and it is going out the exhaust. When bleeding the cooling system it helps to raise the front end of the car higher than the back end, any air in the system will make it overheat. Hope this helps, let me know
