Question about 1998 Ford Escort
Jack the car up and put it on axle stands remove the bolt at bottom of shock, remove the nut at top of shock then remove from car, use spring compressor to compress coil spring then remove top nut and mounting and spring, re-fit parts removed to new shock in reverse order then re-fit to car
