My 2004 impala will start and then not start in no apparant reason. has done this more frequently lately

If you mean that it will not turn over all the time, it could be the starter solenoid or a bad electrical connection to the solenoid. This could be an intermittent problen until it goes altogether.

That is good bet but you should see some spotting from coolant under the car. There is a weep hole on the water pump and what happens with age is that the bushing in the pump on the shaft gets worn and coolant starts to drip out.

I have a 2002 chevy impala ls 3.8 V6 automatic transmission with traction control problems, when its cold and you start the car a let it run for about 20 min sometimes when taking off the traction control...


front hubs will affect the traction control, it uses the abs sensor but usually it will turn on the abs light, traction control light and s e s lights

Check the alternator? that'd be my best guess... Did you go through any water that might have gotten up under your hood lately? Before your car died did the lights get dim? if either of these happened i bet it's the alternator

Hi, You need to replace the alarm siren. It is also a module. It is located in the right front fender well. The reason they go bad is because they are located in a place where they get wet.
