Perhaps a misfire....Spark plugs, plug wires, clogged fuel filter...just a few places to start checking. Bad fuel injector possible.

Rough idle, misfiring

I'll assume it's the 3.8 motor, but it doesn't really matter that much. Check your chain play because it might have jumped a tooth or two. this was a big problem with the 3.8 back then.

When i start up my car the car just accelerates even when in park when i put it in drive it just goes

unplug your mass airflow sensor and see if you get the same result. This is a normal cause for a faulty maf sensor. If it does the same thing replace it and your problem should be gone.

I have a 1994 grand am gt. It has lost power and Idk if it will make a difference but a small gray air line is broken on the right side of the motor. It runs down into a small tank and up by the...

The line needs to be fixed. If it runs part of the emission control or is part of the engine management system the car will not run properly. Other than that, the vaccum leak could cause it to run poorly too.

99 grand am stalls and bucks after long drives

it has to be the fuel filter, alot of times they will get some gunk in them, but not enough to effect it until there has been alot of fuel ran through it, it will make sense once you think aobut it, when the car is driven for a while the feul slowly pulls the gunk through the lines tword the engine, and peices break off little by little.

This is more common of a problem than some people think.

Car hesitates on take off, poor acceleration puttering and occasional stalling

Yes your symptom fits a failing MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow), you could try spraying carb spray through the sensor screen, maybe the heated wire has dirt on it and is causing a faulty signal.
