Hi,
One possibility is that a air intake duct has come disconnected from the intake manifold.
Good Luck.

Engine is loud and when in gear, pressing accellerator produces no effect or delayed effect

the loud engine can be caused by several things. can you describe what the noise sounds like or its location (eg: left or right side of the engine)?
the accellerator pedal on many modern subarus is now electronic.
the delay is caused by a software issue that can be reflashed to the ECU.

I have got a jaguar x type 2.0 turbo diesel i get black smoke when accellerating hard what are the possible causes

first thing to do is put injector cleaner into the fuel tank to see if this improves things, a can to 5 gallons is fine.if then you still have the problem look to the air cleaner, then the turbo.going up in expense.......black smoke(soot)is normally associated with too much fuel not enough air.....or bad combustion.

Help...94 Suburban 1500 auto 4x4, I am changing

I'm pretty sure GM built your truck with the diesel engine as an option so there is a way to make this work. The trans shifts are based on a combination of ground speed and engine RPM so as long as the computer is able to get these signals your trans should work. I put an early 90's overdrive in a mid 80's truck and didn't plug the wiring in because the trans used a 4 wire plugin and my truck only had a 3 wire. It worked fine, even overdrive.
A little jury rigging and ingenuity should find a way to attach your current kickdown cable to the accellerator on the diesel pump. GM probably has a bracket to make it fit. Check with the parts guys at the counter. Hope this helps.

Loud blowing noise from turbo when accellerating

Check the clamps aound the Inlet and Exhaust sides of the Turbo, and the Rubber Boots that connect the High pressure Air flow to the Charge Cooler Inlet and Outlet sides and the Boot into the Manifold. Any of these defects will create this sound. Especially look for a Split in the Connecting Boots, which will reduce Intake Air Pressure and Volume, which indicates a fault to the ECM, and susequent warning.

98 ford contour 2.5- a loud roar from front drivers side of car

This sounding like an Idler bearing problem, Sounds like the idler bearing that supports your belt is either loose or needs replading. I say this because when you get the RPMs up on the motor the noise should almost disappear?

93 MX6 throttle body is Popping, loud, sounds like a diesel

Sounds like the pipe/connection from the exhaust manifold to the EGR valve that is located at or near the throttle body has a leak. That would make a loud popping noise.

Your bearings in the compressor could be going bad.Try accellerating with your air conditioner on off. If the rattling sound does not occur, replace your compressor.
