Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Galant
Hello. This sales technique, now so common with many repair shops is so aggravating. Do they recommend this 60K maintenance, absolutely. Is it critical, no. Do you have to replace the serpentine belt at 60K miles....no, not unless it is frayed and cracked and squeeking.
I recommend that you fix the power window now and visually inspect the serpentine belt. If you do need other maintenance consider a local repair shop after you shop around. Some dealerships are also called stealerships for good reason. Joe
