will your passenger door open with the key and is it just one side that your windows are not working or both. if its just one side it might be your regulator motor in the door thats not working if its both it might be your central locking pump usually in the boot. however if both of them are working fine it could be that your key needs reprogrammed however i think the 1st 2 are more likely to be the problem.

This does not sound like a fob fault - but a locking control module fault , either in the hardware or software of the unit. Get it checked at a Jaguar dealers. When unlocking using the key - as soon as the door is opened you should hear a chime sounding inside the car - this is a timer counting down to sounding the alarm. If you put your key in the ignition as soon as you open the door the alarm should not go off and the chime should stop. If it does not this again points to a fault in the locking controller.
hope this helps - good luck.

Good Evening. That sounds a little annoying, There is only one problem and that is the only way to isolate the problem is to be able to scan into the body control module which will show you which door or hatch is not closing properly. My advice would be ask your friends if there is anyone they go to, and call them and ask if they have the ability to scan the body computer to tell you which door isn't closing properly on its switch. From there we can determine which switch and proper replacement. I hope this helps and I know once you figure out which one it is it won't be long to get it going right. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
