You have described a clogged catalaytic converter in many of the same cases i have experienced. I would check that first, then move on to the transmission filter.

Check if engine is getting fuel. It usually has a port to plug a fuel pressure gauge to check pressure.other thing is use a generic scan tool if you can pick up trouble codes. It can be crankshaft position sensor or cam sensor.

Sorry on 2004 ford exploer xlt 2 wheel drive. cant get rear rotor off.

most likely the parking brake shoes on the inside drum of the rotor are hanging up you can grind the heads off the nails that hold the assembly together and decide after you get it all apart if you want or use your parking brake most people throw them away.

OD off Light Flashing on my 1998 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0 V

The OD light is flashing to alert u to the fact that some kind of fault has occured in the transmission, the problem is in many cases a slipping condition, you need to have the trans control system tested for the trouble codes that are stored when this light flashes, this will let u know what the problem is and a direction to follow to repair it.
