Question about 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer
My mirror was smashed completely off, casing and all, I found a replacement online for cheap. Auto guy wants $160 I was thinking of trying myself to save $100+. The casing snapped off at the base but the base is still attached to the car, the wire is just hanging out. Can anyone please provide detailed instruction of how to do this process OR do you think this is just better to be left to professionals? If you'd like to email me the process that would be appreciated too email@example.com Thank you -Adam-
The mirror assy.is held in by 3 , 10mm nuts and has a single connector,it is not hard to replace, the door panel will need to be removed, remove all the screws holding panel in place ,then pull panel away from door to release plastic clips once clips release pull the panel upward and panel should come off- reinstall everything-good luck
