2007 chevy aveo 5 hatchback. Bought the harnes for a new sterio and wired both new harnesses together. no dash lights or tailights work. Now the security system won't turn off.

YIKES!....It's time to reverse engineer your work. Disconnect the work you did and reconnect the wires as they were before you started the project; make sure you take your time.
Once that's done, check to make sure everything is in proper working order- to original design.
Get yourself a wiring diagram specific to your vesicle year, make, and model. Identify an mark the wires accordingly.
Identify and match up the wiring harness of your stereo to those of your car's wiring...if you still have a problem, you may have incompatible stereo wiring to that of your car's or you'll need to bring it to an after market car sound system installer who knows the work-around, to get it installed properly. Time to shell out the $$$

When am driving in a hill the rpm of the carr go up and down

lack of power going up (or in) a hill could indicate you have a head gasket leak, or your trans has an issue w/downshifting. more clarification would help. how often does this problem occur? any noises associated with uphill driving? check trans fluid level and condition/color. check oil for the same. another suggestion is performing a compression test and compare your results with a repair manual specific to your ride haynes and chiltons are both good reference repair guides written for the non professional mechanic
