Jack up engine on left side and put a 2x4 under the axel. this will take the tension and pressure off. this will make it be easy to align or at least get the nuts started. make sure you get the right torque requirements. get them at autozone tech help website....its free

Why does a 2001 dodge grand caravan not stay in alignment

Several things that can cause the alignment to not stay in specifications. Worn parts such as inner or outer tie rods, lower ball joints,or bad struts are the most common failures. Engine mounts that are weak or broken can also effect the alignment.

Could be a bad CV joint or a broken motor mount. Check each motor mount for breaks in the rubber. Check the CV axles for slop and or mud, debris on them. Also inspect the transmission mount.

How to replace 1996 pontiac grand am motor mount

On 96 Grand Am 2.4L you have to remove the motor mount first to get the top 2 transaxle bolts on the mount bracket removed. The bracket and trans mount are removed as one unit after all 8 bolts are removed. You will need a 3 foot bry bar to move the engine over to the side as far as possible to make room for the 2 top bolts to be removed.

How do u instal a fake pulley on air condition unit on 1997 pontiac grand prix

You need to remove the compressor and then align the pulley bracket holes with mount points on the engine. Check alignment by sighting from the side. The pulley should not be further out or in than the other pulleys on the engine. Use flat washers between the mount and the engine to correct any mis-alignment.

Front End Steering problem

Here's the fix. Have all of the front end components checked for excessive play (tie rod ends, ball joints, pittman arm, and steering box) and replace any components that are worn. Also, REPLACE the steering stabilizer! It looks like a cross-mounted shock absorber attached to the frame and your steering linkage. These wear out and cause the exact condition that you've experienced.
