Did you replace both coils? There is an external coil and a pick up coil which is located under the rotor button. It can only be changed by removing the distributor and dismantling it.

After letting my blazer sit over night it will not start in the morning? I've had it in the shop for two months and they can not figure out the issue. They've determined that if they hook it up to...

The 4.3 engine has a reputation for weak crankshaft position sensor mounted in the lower front of the timing cover that will cause this symptom. The ignition coil and secondary ignition lead from coil to distributor cap can also be problematic.

The only time mine has done this, the battery has been completely dead. I've had that happen to me 3 times in the 8 yrs I've had my Blazer. A new battery always fixed it. I hope that helps you

I live in Las Vegas Nevada and it gets pretty hot Blazer dies out

I do not know what year your truck is but I would remove the ignition module from inside the distributer and remove the rotor so you would have access to the module. Take the module to oreillys and have them test it. Sometimes they make the car act like the car is running out of gas.

I HAVE A 2001 CHEVY BLAZER, IF I LET IT SIT FOR A

Most likely a fuel pump issue. or leaking injectors. Try cycling the key on and off several times to prime the system before cranking. If it starts easier then this test will point to the above mentioned items.

I have a 96 S-10 Blazer, Does not want to start

Replace the fuel filter to help the fuel pump, but it sounds like the fuel pump check valve has gone bad and your losing your fuel pressure to start the engine. Your going to have to keep priming the fuel system by turning the ignition key to the run position for 5 seconds 3 times before you try to start the engine. The only fix for this is to replace the fuel pump, and that is costly. Good luck and take note: the fuel pump has a life time of around 150,000 miles and anything past that is borrowed time.
