On the front iof the engine near the harmonic balanaced pulley in the rear, it is hard to see from up top, remove the long bolt through the side engine mount and use a floor jack to rasie the end of the engine up, then u can access the sensor.

Look on the link below. There's a few images which will help you locate that sensor:

location of 1995 ford probe crankshaft sensor Google Search

The sensor will be located located where the engine attaches to the transmission. Have a look around where the engine attaches to the transmission .. top, sides and underneath. The crankshaft sensor will have a minimum of 1 wire attached.

Im trying to locate my crankshaft sensor on my 1995 dodge dakota v8 does anyone have a diagram or can tell me exactly where it is .. do you have to remove anything to get to it ..is it easier to get to...

It's almost certainly going to be beside the crankshaft pulley. Try looking from underneath the car and search for the unit, or the wires, leading from it.

Where exactly is the crankshaft position sensor located in a 1996 town and country lxi (3.8L engine)?

Hello sam adamzz: My name is Roger and I will help you. You can locate the crankshaft position sensor in the transmission bell housing. Standing at the driver side fender. Look at the back af the engine where the transmission and block meet. Just to the right of the block edge mounted in the bell housing you should see a round sensor with a wire lead out of it. This should be the sensor you want. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

Jsut want to know where crankshaft position sensor

Hi!!

here are illustrations of the CKP (crankshaft position) sensor in 2.3L and 3.0L.

Note: In the bottom of the 2.3L drawing says Trottle Position (TP) Sensor, this is wrong, It should say CKP Sensor.

2.3L Engine

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located to the left of the crankshaft pulley.

Crankshaft and camshaft sensors location in nissan altima 2003

You are incorrect sir. There is a very good Youtube video showing you exactly where it is that is how I changed mine. The Crankshaft is located behind the engine block below and around from the cam sensor which is easly spotted looking at the engine. The crankshaft is in a difficult spot but once you figure out where it is it's easy...ish hope this helps
