Lack of gas ,never mind the pressures and being technical ,use the right machine to remove the gas and measure the weight of gas removed ,then vacumn system and refill with oil and recharge with the right weight of gas ,then it work ok

2003 Nissan frontier truck. Running fine change the oil, oil filter, gas filter and know it won't start. When it did it back fired twice. There's no check engine light what happened?

Changing the fuel filter releases the pressure on the lines and drains the system. You need to cycle the key several times to prime the fuel lines again or keep cranking the engine till fuel pressure gets to the proper spec.

The compressor constantly kicks on and off what could cause this

This can be a NORMAL condition. There are a couple of methods to control the process of refrigeration, cycling clutch is the least expensive method, and it works.

the compressor kicks in when needed and off when the correct pressure is reached, and continues.....

How do I fix code P1237 on ford taurus sel

P1237 - Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Malfunction

Electronic Returnless Fuel Systems (ERFS) utilize a Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) to control fuel pressure. The PCM uses a Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (FRP) for feedback. The PCM outputs a duty cycle to the FPDM to maintain the desired fuel rail pressure. During normal operation, the PCM will output a FP duty cycle from 5% to 51%. The FPDM will run the fuel pump at twice this duty cycle, e.g. if the PCM outputs a 42% duty cycle, the FPDM will run the fuel pump at 84%. If the PCM outputs a 75% duty cycle, the FPDM will turn off the fuel pump.

If the FPDM does not out any diagnostic signal, (0 or 100% duty cycle), the PCM sets a P1233 DTC. This DTC is set if the FPDM loses power. This can also occur if the Inertia Fuel Switch is tripped.

If the FPDM outputs a 25% duty cycle, it means that the fuel pump control duty cycle is out of range. This may occurs if the FPDM does not receive a valid control duty cycle signal from the PCM. The FPDM will default to 100% duty cycle on the fuel pump control output. The PCM sets a P1235 DTC.

If the FPDM outputs a 75% duty cycle, it means that the FPDM has detected an open or short on the fuel pump control circuit. The PCM sets a P1237 DTC.

sounds like you are running lean , i would start by changing the fuel filter and check for fuel pressure using a fuel pressure guage at the shrader vavle on your fuel rail, if your fuel pressure is not above 35psi when you cycle your key on and you have changed the fuel filter i would recommend changing the fuel pump,

My 1999 neon ac compressor short cycles. has no cold air and also has a full charge.

Maybe there is too much refrigerant in the system where the high pressure cutoff switch invokes in short cycles.

Usually, low pressure in the system causes the short cycle/no cold air in the a/c system.

Hi IM AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

The cycling switch is what keeps the system from freezing up and comes in different forms for instance. Some vehicles is located inside the a/c housing close to or pushed inside the evaporator, on other vehicles it's the low pressure switch. NO, you do not have to much Freon because if you did the high side pressure would go well past 350 to 400 psi. I would google how to change the cycling switch on your vehicle and watch the video. Hope this helps and have an awesome day. AL with Big A's Auto Repair.
