I may be wrong on this one but i believe its under or around the right side kick panel,but unless you dropped it off the jack i think your barking up the wrong tree,recheck your work look for a wire that may have gotten unplugged

I recently changed oil and filter on 2001 saab 9-3 how do you reset time for service indicator

Most vehicles can be done like this. Turn the key to run, press the fuel/gas pedal three time with in five seconds, slowly. The light will flash. When the light stops, turn the key off. Reset. Some others take a scanner to reset. Good luck.

Fuel cutoff switch reset

You don't say which Suzuki model you have? However Suzuki don't have an inertia switch, the fuel pump is wired through the engine oil pressure switch, if the engine stops, then 'no oil pressure' so the pump shuts down. Hope that helps.

Oil pressure light comes on and it chimes momentarily when start up eventually goes out could this be a sensor and if so where is it located .

Try this is you have just changed your oil. This is a oil light reset.

Turn the ignition to ON.

Press the GAGE INFO button on the driver information center (DIG) switch to view OIL LIFE INDEX.

Press and hold the RESET button on the DIG until the display reads OIL LIFE INDEX 100% NORMAL.

The engine oil life monitor is now reset..

Turn the ignition OFF.

I changed the oil and need to reset the change oil light?

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Do not

start the engine.

2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times

within 10 seconds.

3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.

NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you

start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not
reset. If necessary repeat this procedure.

With the ignition switch on but the vehicle not started simply press the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times. This action will reset the OIL light. This is a orange display on the dashboard that will light up once and reset. Let me know how this works for you!

Fuses

The first thing you should do is to locate the oil pressure switch/sending unit.

This switch serves two functions.

1) provide oil pressure reading

2) disable the fuel pump relay in event of oil pressure loss.

===

When this switch is failing to provide the correct pressure to the ECU. The wiring harness can overheat and eventually create a short.

ECM2 fuse blow is because the harness is grounding/shorting.

===

DO NOT drive the truck until you change the oil pressure switch.

After you change the switch,you should spend sometime to inspect the wiring between the fuel pump relay,ECU and fuel pump.

Please post up day on the comment window/page.

I will follow up on it later.

Good luck.
