This is caused by engine coolant entering the crankcase, the cause is either a leaking engine cylinder head gasket or a crack in the engine block or both, has the engine been overheated?.

Water get into oil

Water in oil makes the oil go grey / milky or white . Check the cooling system by a pressure test and if it is holding then it will not be water in the oil.. If you are referring to transmission oil then the tan colour indicates burnt oil, and must be replaced. Water in that oil will also be a white cherry/ milky colour.

Transmission lost all gears

check the level of the coolant as milky transmission oil is water in the oil ( busted oil cooler in the radiator.) or water in the replacement transmission.

have a coolant system pressure test done as there may be corrosion behind the water pump impellor that is letting water out into the sump. Check all aluminium fittings that connect to the oil system for corrosion

I have a 2010 hummer h3 that has a milky color in the radiator we checked all the fluids the engine oil is fine but the transmission fluid is barely touching the dipstick what could the problem be ...........

Milky colour in the radiator means that the engine has overheated and the head gasket is blown and might need replacement after skimming the cylinder head. The milky colour is oil in the engine mixing with water that cools the engine

What color smoke? black = fuel blue = oil white = water. oil is not always milky with head problem if thats what you are getting at. Does it start rough (misfireing) then clear up?

Milky color oil on dip stick. 1998 volvo xc70

That would be a blown head gasket. Do not drive your vehicle like this or you can cause serious damage to the engine.
