2003 pickup. What are the probable causes of DTC P0171?

Since you have replaced the sensor, my first guess would be low fuel pressure or a vac leak.
Code 171 means the computer can not make the fuel mixture rich enough to make the sensor switch from lean to rich and back.

Sounds like you have a serious vacum leak.; DTC 0174 and 0174 are lean conditions on bank 1 and bank 2, 0300 is random misfire. The only thing I can think of is a big vacum leak like the brake booster / vac line leaking, or maybe the intake manifold is cracked ... even a stuck-open EGR doesn't normally lean a motor that much. Start by checking for a vacum leak, if the motor will idle you can spray a little WD-40 around ports and lines >> if the idle speeds up or becomes smooth you on the right track in the area you judt sprayed.

Engine light stays on code PO 171 45 lb gas pressure

Not sure what the 45lb gas pressure is for. Fuel pressure ??
In most cases the code is for bank one O2 sensor out of range. There are about a dozen possible causes including a vac leak. The sensor is reading too much air in the exhaust based on the other engine readings.
Things like a stuck PVC valve, leaking vac hose, leaking exhaust, leaking intake manifold, or even a failed O2 sensor.

Engine light on code readings; P2177B & P2179B Fuel trim lean Bank 1 & 2. Not sure what needs to be done to fix this?

most commen for those codes is o2s but not in some cases it could be something as small as a vacume leak or even catalak converters but like i said most of them are the o2 sensers

O2 sensers r on and cant get it inspeted changed them drove it 185 miles and wont clear

till you get the vehicle on a good scanner, not just a code scanner but a rel time scanner, you are beating your head against a wall, many things can give a bad o2 reading from injectors to spark to a simple vacuum leak

I have 2002 avalanche and my engine light came on

There are a number of things that could be causing this p0420 catalyst efficiency code. The most common thing is the catalytic converter itself is no longer functioning properly. The other likely thing is the rear O2 (oxygen) sensor is no longer working properly. Other things could include exhaust leaks, damaged exhaust pipes, damaged O2 sensor wiring/connectors, plugged catalytic converter, etc.

The easiest thing to do first is a visual check of things. Visually inspect the exhaust system for leaks, check the catalytic converter for dents, holes, severe discoloration, and check for a rattle inside. If any of those symptoms are there, the converter likely needs replacement. Then, visually inspect the downstream O2 sensor (behind the converter). Check for broken wires, obvious faults, etc. If all that checks out, you'll want to check the operation of the O2 sensor. To do that, you'll need access to a scan tool or oscilloscope. Check that the waveform is pretty steady. If the reading fluctuates then the sensor is likely bad and will need to be replaced.

Good luck and hope this helps.
