Question about Renault Sportwagon
It maybe a faulty key card, because the problem you describe is exactly
what happens if you insert a brand new un coded key card in to the
reader. That is easily checked by trying the spare key card, presuming
you have one. The car reader has a 'card present' switch inside it, if
that is faulty then the vehicles body ecu may not be 'seeing ' that the
card has been inserted. The card reader is not coded to the car, so it
is possible to swap one from another car for testing purpose's. try this website to order a key it will save a lot of money i hear. worth looking into. sorry for the problems hope i could help.
