Check your battery make sure it is able to take a charge. ,if the amps are good check your connection, from altenantor to battery. check voltage drops, battery drains. Your problem most likley seems to be
your battery. Your starter might also be draining your battery. You ll find the problem keep looking.

Mazda Bongo Altenetor Is Not Charging. What May Be The Fault?

-Most Alternator not charge, because the brushes are won out.
But here is the basic to determine what is wrong before replace any part.

-Turn on the car let it run to normal idle then use voltmeter to check
power at battery terminal. If it's below 13 volt. The alternator need to be replace. But if it show 13.5 to 14 volt. The alternator is good. The battery is bad. It doesn't hole any charge. Need new battery.
Keep in mine. each battery is last ONLY 5 Years.

Good Luck

1998 Ford Explorer 5.0 battery won't charge,

Probably because your Battery is Bad... Try Charging and LOAD TESTING our battery and then if the battery tests good, Test your Alternator and see if it is charging properly.

Maybe when you installed the New Alternator, you missed a connection or have too many wires on one connector... You have have to take some pics to see what is going on.

All circuits seem good but still won't charge battery

Sometimes new batteries are still bad, it sounds like the battery wont take a charge, go get your new battery tested and go from there.

if its not charging while running at14.5 volts or so you have a charging problem mabey no power to the alternator if its charging at 14.5 or so and the batery load tests good and its going dead over night you have a draw from some component in the system.

Daughter called me ..car wont start. checked battery at Autozone...it is good. someone stopped to help them and bang on startere and it starts up. Bad starter. Starter replaced. Next day daughter...

it sounds like you have blown fuse to the Alternator.. I don't know what car you are talking about but they charging systems vary.. But if alternator isn't getting all the power it needs it won't charge. this should be checked.

good luck

Have 97 acura won't stay charge changed battery

the battery wont stay charged? if youre putting in a fully charged battery and your car runs, but then the battery slowly dies, the problem will be your alternator. the alternator is what maintains a car batteries charge. try replacing the alternator. hope this helps.

Alternater want charge

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Is the alternator new? If so, you need to check the connections and wires. Test them with a voltage meter to find out which one is not getting power. You could have a bad wire or loose connection/bad connection. It may be the alternator itself. If it is old, it will need changed. Make sure the battery post are cleaned and the wires have a good connection. Make sure the battery is fully charged. It won't charge up until you run the engine.

Sounds like you may have bad battery make sure your battery is getting the charging voltage of 13,8 volts or higher check it with a volt meter and see if the alternator is working right I've gotten bad alternators one can never be to sure than elminate that problem and move onto the battery make sure its good. it should have 12.6 volts or higher after it has been fully charged or you think its charged . than last check your relays and your fuses make sure there all working good luck
