most suspension bushes are available from suspension repair shops. As you will need a press to do the job ,it is generally quicker and cheaper to have the shop do the job. With suspensions be aware that if one bush is failing then the others will not be far behind. Discuss this with an accredited suspension repair shop

My 2006 Tucson's front passenger side suspension is producing a horrible "knocking" sound.

warranty on these bushes is not allowed even in warranty period as they are classed as consumable items (tyres -brake pads -clutch linings etc). The price sound about right and any accredited service shop should be able to handle the job . With out unforseen problems it should be no more than 2 hours for both sides . You will need to do both sides.

Ive got a knocking coming from the rear passenger side of my ford focus. i have renewed the bearings, shoes, cylinder but the noise is still there could it be from anything else. please help

check the rear stabilizer links. there will be a round bar than runs accross the rear suspension. There will be two links that attach this bar to the lower control arm. either one of the links is broken or the bushings that hold the bar in place are worn out.

Ive got a knocking noise comin from the rear passenger side of my car

It is likely that you have worn rubber bushing in one or more of the suspension control arms, check them all. Also check for loose suspension bolts on all control arms. Have you checked the free play of the wheel?

I have a knocking sound from rear passenger sidewhenever i go ver bumps and when speeding the car makes a howling sound

Sounds like broken spring, or collapsed suspension strut, or collapsed wheel baring, or broken upper or lower control arm or extremely worn bushes, or all the above. what is it your driving? what sort of bumps? speed bumps? or 4x4ing bumps? or just general bumps in the road?

Front driver side suspension knock over bumps

See if you can bounce car and replicate the noise. If you can, you should be able to find it, and put your hand on it. Stabilizer bushing are a place to look, both at the lower a arm and on the frame. If you narrow it down to the strut, it will need to be replaced. The front trans mount also goes bad, try putting it in drive with your foot on the brake and give it some gas and see if the engine moves an excessive amount.

Rear knocking on uk 1999 impreza

Check the bottom Y shaped arm which holds the wheel steady not allowing it to move back or front. Once this play becomes more than half an inch, this starts making knocking sounds as if somebody is tapping on the chassis. This Y shaped arm has both arms attached to the chassis, each having a metal covered rubber bush. Change both bushes and the sound will vanish......................sodeep

Rear Suspension noise on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Check sway bar. On some models as suspension sags, sway bar outer ends will contact the body, leaving a mark or dent just above the end, causing a bang over bumps. Only way to correct this is to change springs or add a spring lift.
