Hey the radiator is mostly located in the front of the car
in most cars you need to first unclip the pipes then by rotating them de-attach them .Then on the front of the car there are two nuts with hinges and rubber to hold the radiator just remove them and take the radiator out
one more thing remove the wire at the bottom it's of thermistor to run the fan when car gets hot
ONLY DO THIS WHEN CAR IS COLD....

Engine overheating, replaced cracked radiator w/new but problem persists, where is the thermostat located?

should be on right side(drivers side) of plentum. Follow top radiator hose. Area is kind of hard to get to but is a real an easy change. After you change the thermostat then crank engine and bleed air using the bleed screws that are located in middle left of plentum.

I have a Bmw C318 and when I am stuck in traffic jam my radiator fan is not running enough to cool the engine and i changed the thermostat and the radiator fan new but remained the same. And when i start...

Check the temp. sensor with a digital voltmeter.never use a test light on a comuterized car.should read same voltage on both terminals when fan energized. Highly suspect coolant temp. sensor @ radiator.

How do I change the coolant in a 2000 chev silverado

Some radiator have a valve located near the bottom of the radiator on the side facing the engine . If there is no valve just disconnect the radiator hose that is connected to the bottom of the radiator .If you want to change this fluid completely you may have to repeat the process after you replace the fluid in the radiator and you have driven the car for a while because otherwise all you would be replacing is the fluid in the radiator !

Were is the thermostat located in a Pontiac Sunfire 2000?

Hi:
Your thermostat is located under the thermostat housing, which is what the upper radiator hose clamps to on the top of your engine. Basically, you need to start with a cold engine, drain your radiator, then unclamp the upper radiator hose from the engine. Remove the bolts from the thermostat housing, and gently tap on it to remove it. clean up the mounting surfaces on both the engine and the housing, and install a new thermostat, and new gasket. tighten to proper torque, reconnect the radiator hose, then refill up the radiator and cooling system.
