It is your starter. I know because i had same problem in my 99' wouldn't bother with the solenoid because more than likely it is worn out brushes so cleaning your points inside the starter will not help either.

Replaced starter and sylinoid in my 1989 f250 still wont start

If the old solenoid had a bad short it may have put your new starter out of commission. Have the starter tested-it should still have warranty for repllacement.

93' FORD E150 won't start and doesn't even click or turn-over. Battery and fuses are all good. What could be the problem?

Wires to the starter could be the problem. Check for corrosion on wires. Starter sylinoid maybe the problem the starter is grounded be the bolts holding it on so I would check the wires on the sylinoid

92 jeep wrangler won't start battery is good and so is the starter. turn key and just get a click at the starter

there are a couple things that cause the clicking, you either have a bad starter sylinoid or usually a bad connecton at the battery or starter its self, that click is usually just a bad connection issue

Car won't start. The battery is connected

Sometimes the starter sylinoid goes out. If its a clicking noise its the battery. If nothing try the starter. Sometimes you can tap the starter with a hammer and its good if that is not it test the starter. Start here before you go to anything else. Its the starter most likely.

Truck wont start no power to sylinoid

The starter may have failed. you can have the starter checked by removing it . then with jumper cables connect the ground to the starter body. Then hit the main cable (positive ) connection . It should turn fast. If it is slow and sluggish or does not do anything. The starter went bad.
