The battery was installed incorrectly and blew the fuse for the radio which is repaired but we found out the air is not working at all and it was before that. it blows just like the heater no signs of cooling. could it be a fuse for this?

I would test the on/off switch and a/c relay first.

Radio went out in my 95 ford aspire

Read about the radio not working and you think you have a blown fuse . I had a blown fuse due to me blowing it by shorting out the dome light . After changing the fuse I had code 52 which is a low ground fault for air bags . I then looked to find the large four fuses under the hood and found that three were OK but when trying to remove the 80 amp fuse with a pliers it broke . when I got it home I pulled the battery completely out and found that the 80 amp fuse has plastic covers on both side that cover bolts that hold it in place . Removed the bolts to find that part was burnt of from the short . After replacing it all was good and hour of driving it reset on its own .

I changed the battery in my car it was put in the wrong way after correcting the battery now my radio is not working at all, this is not the same radio that came with car,i bought this one

Check fuse box, you might have fried the radio fuse when you installed the battery incorrectly. Some radios have a fuse attached to the back of the radio chassis. You may need to take radio out and check it, good luck.

The radio, windows and headlights aren't working.

If my memory serves me, this vehicle has a Body Control Module fitted which takes care of these and many more functions. By connecting the jumper cables incorrectly, this module may have been damaged and will need to be checked and or repaired by qualified persons. The radio may also have been damaged by incorrect jumper cable connection . To be honest, incorrect cable connections can destroy most electronic devices in the blink of an eye and can be very expensive to replace damaged parts. My advice would be to take the vehicle to a qualified auto electrician and have all the vehicles systems checked including ABS brake systems, Airbag systems etc.

The battery drains every night. it seems the radio does not switch off

I have the same issue with my 99 malibu. Come to find out that the radio was installed incorrectly as it worked when the key was out. This used up a lot of amps than normal on a car that should be off. Also, the car alarm was installed incorrectly so it ate up a lot of amps, as well. So I had to get the old alarm fully taken out and a new alarm installed. Same with the radio. This resolved the issue, but until I could get this done, I found myself taking out certain fuses everytime I parked my car so the battery wouldn't drain. When I was ready to go, I would put the fuses back in and it would start up. I'm not sure if it would be the same for you, but it worked, in the meantime...Good luck...

THE RADIO MOST LIKELY IS THE PROBLEM, WITHOUT THE REPAIR MANUALS IT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO REPAIR (man. not availiable to the public), YOUR BEST BET IS TO FIND A FORD AUTHORIZED REPAIR SHOP, THEY ARE ON THE NET, THE OTHER BUY A USED UNIT ON EBAY, THE LAST IS THE BEST OPTION, I HAVE DONE THIS ON SEVERAL CARS AND WORKED OUT GREAT, LESS THAN $100 FOR A USED UNIT.
