So how do you know its not lubricating? usually by the time people figure out there is a problem, the engine is trashed. were you driving with the oil light on? So you say the oil pump is out? if so, whats wrong with it? If theres nothing wrong with it, There could be a LOT more problems. But if its apart you need to check all you can NOW. you have more looking to do. This is a job for a pro, or the dealer.

Yes you can tighten them down to far. check your service manual for proper torque. If they still clack after you tighten them then you should check the rods and make sure you installed the part correctly.

Hi i have an Volvo 2001 s60 d5 turbo, i purchased it about 6 months and in board computer was showing in italian (motore necesita assist) but it was running well and it was starting very nice no sound no...

I would suggest trying to purge the air from the fuel lines by loosening the fuel lines at the injectors (if possible) and cranking the engine for a moment or two, then tightening the lines, try to start the car, if it starts, loosen the injector fuel lines again while it's running, one injector at a time, to purge any remaining air. I hope this helps, and good luck.

The car just die'd wile driving/thout this was all ******* free ,

something is cutting the engine. Check if the battery power supply or the alternator power supply is good. Better to get it checked by a technician.

Chevy distributer gear worn out gear 1997 C3500 7.4

Gears wearing out can be due to lack of lubrication.
Since you have already replaced the gear, not a bad idea to recheck if its ok and tht there is enough of lubricant (oil) going to the gear and around it.
Hope this helps!

It just stoped running

Depending on how much gas was in the tank and how steep the hill was, the fuel pump most likely started pumping air instead of gas, thereby stalling the engine.
