Unless you own a component tester then you really can not test it. You will need to see how the engine is preforming does it run smooth at an idle or does it hunt or idle too high or too low (investigate it solenoid is frozen).

Can I use a 1995 Harmonic balancer on a 1997 Nissan Pickup 4 cylinder

Hi Cecil, got a 85 Nissan 720 4x4,had it 20 years,to find out for sure, call your local Nissan Dealer, ask for parts, then ask him and he can look it up on there Nissan data base and tell you,I use my local Nissan Dealer often and they know me well. The best place to find out anything Nissan. You can get your oil change there regulary and they will scan for free and if something is wrong, they will tell you for free, then you have the option of letting them repair or you can do it.

1995 nissan pickup throttle position sensor

ok on a 2.4l on the black/green and white wires use ohm meter and there is no specific spec for that engine just make sure the the resistance changes and there is no dead spots. for the 3.0l black and white wires specs are 1.0-9.0k ohms im guessing the specs are the same either engine. close to full open
