It sounds more like you are out of fluid or out of travel on the plunger. When a clutch goes bad it has other symptoms like slipping, chattering, I think you have a travel problem. Check the fluid if it is hyd, check the travel if it is mech. It doesn't have to travel far to disengage, but it does have to move, so get under there and have somebody depress the clutch so you can see how far it goes. Don't do it with the engine running, and don't do it on a hill. Hope this helps.

Wont start unless give it a shot of starting fluid

It sounds like the idle air control solenoid valve is stuck open. You can sometimes remove it and clean it with carburetor cleaner. It is located on the left side of the throttle body just behind the fuel control valve, it is held on with two screws.

When i drive and step on the gas it redlines and takes awhile to gain speed if i go slow on the gas it picks up slowly but everytime i punch it it shoots up in rpms

If it is a 5 speed your clutch is slipping. If it is an automatic the clutch pack is bad or torque converter problem.

Two things. Your MAF SENSORor your brakes are on, 3 things, or your clutch is slipping. Good Luck

Clutch disk may have runout
1. Check the clutch disc contacting surface of the flywheel for damage and wear. Replace the flywheel if excessively damaged or worn. 2. Check the clutch disc contacting surface of the flywheel for runout. 3. Check the ring gear for damage, crack and wear, and replace if necessary.

To inspect you better take it to service station
1. Remove the transaxle and clutch. 2. Remove clutch assembly
