Clicking and Gurgling noise in Driver's side Dash

I have a clicking noise in the dash on driver's side of my 2004 Chevy Silverado. The noise can be heard with the key in the Aux position and when the truck is running. Everything works fine, but it's very annoying. It doesn't change as speed increases, but if I move the fan from defrost to another position it will go away for a moment or change noise slightly. Any ideas? Thanks.

Something in your HVAC see if you can see anything in there, also sounds like you may need a A/C sevice.

Sorry shoulda noted that when you use defrost it turns on your A/C, if the vehicle has A/C obviously.

Where is the drivers door switch located on a 2004 chev silverado hd

Most times on a chevy they used to be right on the side molding of the dash panel. Open the door and look where the fusae box is on the side of the dash. That push switch that you see (lloks like a little stick stuck in the dash) is ir should be what you are looking for.

2004 chevrolet silverado ac is not blowing through dash vents only through defrost vents

these trucks are equipped with an electric vent door motor known as a vent actuator. I believe the actuator that controls this vent is located behind the dash on the driver side.

There is a continual clicking sound when in motion

If it is in the dash it is the AC/Heater automatic air temperature control blend door actuator that is makeing noise due to a jammed/warped or slow moving blend door.

A/C and Heat Driver Side Intermittent Problem

You will need to replace your driver side temp actuator. It is most likely sticking or over travelling. It is located under the dash directly below the a/c control head. It is bolted to the a/c box upside down with two small bolts. Let me know if i can help more.
