if the code shows a cam position sensor then it is the cam position sensor and not the crank position sensor

05 Chevy Aveo Sedan sputters, jerks, check engine light goes off & on?

Depending on what engine you have, I know the 1.6 DOHC engine has the cam sensor right at the top front of the motor. You must make sure you have your timing belt serviced at the suggested intervals or you will have a large repair that you can't afford. The recommended service interval is 72,000 miles. If you do not have your belt changed at the service interval it will cost you upwards of 1,200 bucks to have it fixed after the valves are bent and need replacing.

Or just spark plugs or wires. Or Distributor/ignition. check the cheap things first. Also, replace your fuel filter.

What causes 2005 2.5l volvo to misfire and show code random multiple misfires i replaced plugs but no good

I would take it back and demand a refund. Could be the crank or cam sensors, an intake leak, faulty coil, or a list of other components.

I have a 2002 Intrepid with P 0340 code showing. Jusst started today. No stalling, rough running, or misfiring. Just curious is the camshaft position sensor could be thrown off by the timing belt being...

It could be both. Being a 2002 it could be the timing belt or just the sensor being bad and reporting the wrong position to the computer. Do a compression check first to see if your losing compression. If you aren't then it most likely is the Cam position sensor or Crank Position sensor. That code indicates it is the Cam Position Sensor that is faulty which is a good thing because that is easier to get at and replace.
