1995 jaguar xj6 vehicle security system has gone off twice for no apparent reason. Also, heat working, air conditioner not. Need advice.

you may need to get fault codes out airbag module to solve this dont and repeat dont mess with this unless you know what you are doing. they really do go BANG! and need to be properly disarmed before working on them my advice after being a jag tech fer 50 years is take to dealer or reputable tech even the minute current from a multimeter can set them off

Your car has lost some kind of security system programming. You need the dealer to look into this and do whatever programming is required.

Disconnect the security system module that is located under the hood on the passenger side of vehicle next to the radiator.

its sound like fuel pump gone or fuel regulator gone

check your flowmeter, this electronic device moniters air/fuel mixture, commonly located on the inlet manifold near injectors

five weeks ago my fan belt snapped and when i replenished the overfill to radiator i used only water

I have the similar problem with both my Jaguars, one is a 1988 Jaguar XJS, the other is a 1987 Jaguar XJ6, both blow COLD air out some vents while it blows warm air for heat. I heard it had something to do with the cold air blowing as a dehumidifier, I don't know if this is true, but it is really annoying to have both cold and warm air blowing when I need heat in these cold Canadian winters. Lock your doors with key and hold until the alarm activates, then unluck car and start

if you have the dash manual it will tell you how to restart it.i know gm cars you turn ignition switch to the on position for ten minutes engine not running.when security light turn off the engine will start up. but jaguar might be a different tactic.
