That's normal. It should blink when the key is out of the ignition.

My taurus wont start or even turn over battery connections all ok. my theft light is blinking faster than normal could this be a reason for not starting? if so what do i do or try? im frustrated......

yes the fast blinking theft light indicates that theft mode is activated. you wont be able to start the vehicle until you have the keys reprogrammed at your local ford dealer.

Anti theft light keeps blinking and keeps staling the car...what can this be. Never sone this before today.

The contacts of the resistor in your ignition key/lock cylinder may be worn and not forming a continuous complete circuit. If so then you will most likely have to replace the lock cylinder and key.

2001 Ford Taurus flashed theft light while driving and stalls. It does that intermittently. Starts fine.

IT WILL HAVE EITHER PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) MODULE OR REMOTE ANTI-THEFT PERSONALITY (RAP) MODULE . REPLACE THE MODULE.

Weel every time i try to start my car a " theft" light keeps flashing and my car wont start

Hi,

The theft light blinking in your car is related to the door ajar switch not working correctly.Try spraying a liberal amount of lubricant directly into the door latches on your Taurus. The switch is in the door at the latch, and over time it gets gummed up and sticks. By lubricating the problem will be solved.

Thank you !!
