What are the defects of the 4wheel drive?

What are the defects of the 4wheel drive mitsubishi galant gdi? whilst driving when you turn left or right it makes a noise in front of the vehicle. And also the engine whilst idling the beat of the engine rises and falls. Anytime the car starts the fan belt makes a screaching noise although it was changed recently.

Gdi engines are prone to this idling problem, you can try dissconecting the battery and reconnect after a few minutes and see if the ecu rectafies it or try petrol additive

I don't think you HAVE a problem. The AC system puts a significant extra load on the engine, and a slight loss of performance is normal.

There is no point in trying to make heads or tails as to why a lite goes on , there are too many variables to consider.Have the vehicle scanned for codes at Autozone( usually free) and then do the repair accordingly.

97 Mitsubishi legnum,runs great but takes a bit to start, thought it might be fuel pump relay as you can,t hear pump start when key is turned on, is that normal for legnums.

is your car a GDI engine? If it is GDI you can't really hear the pump working when you put ign on.

Fuel pump relay
Is your car a GDI or MPI? If it's a GDI version the relay is located on the firewall left hand side under the bonnet. If it's a MPI then the relay is in the fuse box near the battery.
