Main power panel for my windows, door locks 1991 ford explorer needs replaced. Guy says he fixed it and now the door locks work but the windows on the passenger still dont work. What do I need to do?"

Hi there, I'm AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

First, make sure that the window are not locked out. There is a lock out on the drivers master switch that could be in the lock-out-mode. Push that switch and see if the other windows work. If they don't further diagnosis will be needed. If you need further assistance go to my website below. Have an awesome day! Auto Repair

check your fuses ,if they are good track down the hot wire leading to your switch ,if you have power going into switch ,but not coming out going to your headlights, it might be the switch went bad, also check your ground connections

My 1991 Ford F250 headlights stopped working. Fuse is good and replaced headlight switch, still no power to headlights. Help!!!

You would need a trouble light to check and see if there is a problem with the ground or the hot wire leading to the lights. There is most likely a relay to the headlights under the dash or in the engine compartment. Check the area of the fusebox for it.

1991 lincoln town car - tail light and dash lights not working

These shops must be stupid did not one of them check your Main head light switch?

Ford was silly wihen they designed it Power goes to the head lamp switch, back through to the lights so the switch gets verryyy hot and being a 91 towncar the part is well past its life span to!

You should be able to get a replacement part cheap enough or go to local junk yard if you feel lucky!

The headlamp switch will cause the lamps to turn off. The switch heats up and turns the headlamps off. It will cool down and work for about 10 minutes and cut out,

High beams wont turn on.

First place to start is with headlight switch. I did have a case many years ago when both high beams were blown out at once, but this is rare. When you have the headlight switch out, jump power from te low beams to the high beam contacts. If high beams come on, replace switch.
