Question about 1993 Isuzu Trooper

Open Question

1999 Isuzu Trooper: Symptoms, multiple: Blower Motor Not Working Alternator Not Working Instrument Panel ABS Light Is On Instrument Panel Battery Light Is On Test: Blower Motor: Turn on switch to blower: No Blower Tested Fuse: Good Jumper Fuse: No Blower Motor Jumper to blower motor from another fuse, Blower Motor works fine. Fuse Box, Inside Trooper: Pull internal fuse box from panel and test power to each fuse from the back side of the fuse box. All power wires on back side of fuse box show power except: Blower Motor Fuse and AC Fuse next to blower motor fuse. I cannot visibly follow blower motor power in wire from fuse box up through wire harness to behind the dash board to the fuse box under hood beside battery. I am curious about the AC Comp Relay in the External Fuse Box. I have not spotted the blower resistor that is supposed to be beside the external fuse box, but that is from a Rodeo manual. Alternator and Battery: Alternator is not producing DC output to battery. Simple test on battery before cranking engine and after cranking engine. I have not pulled alternator but really do not believe alternator is bad at this point. I tried to source a Trooper manual from each of three auto stores in town and found only a Harris manual for the Rodeo and Amigo. I bought that manual. Electrical schematics are not that good.

Did you find out a solution to your problem? I have a 1996 trooper that is showing most of the same symptoms that you have. I'm curious as to your fix. Was it simply a bad ground?

Alternator wiring or connection

The two WHT wires from 80A MAIN fuse FL-1 in the fuse/relay box connect to the B (battery) terminal. The BLK/YEL wire from 15A ENGINE fuse C-8 in the dash fuse box connects to the IG (ignition) terminal. The WHT/GRN wire from the charge warning light in the instrument panel connects to the L (light) terminal. Tre is no connection to the C terminal in the 1995 Isuzu Trooper

Cannot find heater blower in 1999 ford taurus

It's hiding deep behind the right side dash. See instructions from autozone.com below.

1997-99 Models

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disengage the instrument panel insulator from the instrument panel.
  3. Detach the wiring connector at the blower motor.
  4. Unsnap the instrument panel upper finish panel from the instrument panel.
  5. On vehicles equipped with autolamp, Detach the electrical connector from the light sensor amplifier.
  6. Unsnap and remove the instrument panel finish end panel from the right side of the instrument panel.
  7. Remove the 3 screws retaining the instrument panel to the upper cowl top panel.
  8. Remove the 2 screws at each right side of the instrument panel.
  9. Remove the 3 screws retaining the blower motor to the evaporator housing.
  10. Pull the instrument panel away from the cowl and remove the blower motor from the A/C evaporator housing.
  11. If required, separate the blower motor wheel from the blower motor by removing the retainer from the blower motor shaft and sliding the blower motor wheel off the blower motor shaft.

To install:
  1. If the blower motor wheel was removed, align the flats on the inside diameter of the wheel hub with the flat surface on the blower motor shaft and slide the blower motor wheel onto the blower motor shaft. Install a new blower motor wheel retainer onto the shaft.
  2. Install the blower motor and wheel assembly into the evaporator housing and firmly tighten the 3 retaining screws.
  3. Reposition the instrument panel and install the 2 screws at each right side of the instrument panel.
  4. Install the 3 screws retaining the instrument panel to the upper cowl top panel.
  5. Install the instrument panel finish end panel to the right side of the instrument panel.
  6. On vehicles equipped with autolamp, Attach the electrical connector to the light sensor amplifier.
  7. Snap the instrument panel upper finish panel to the instrument panel.
  8. Attach the wiring connector at the blower motor.
  9. Engage the instrument panel insulator to the instrument panel.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Check for proper blower motor operation.

GAUGES NOT WORKING ABS LIGHT ON AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON.

iT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE THE CODES READ WITH A CODE READER,AUTO ZONE CAN DO THIS FOR FREE,JUST TO SEE WHAT THE COMPUTER IS TRyING TO TELL YOU,AND CHECK THE ALTERNATOR TO SEE WHAT THE VOLTAGE OUTPUT IS,IT SHOULD READ AT THE BATTERY 13.65 VOLTS,TO 14.25 VOLTS ,WITH THE HEAD LIGHTS ON,AND THE AC ON HIGH BLOWER MOTOR.
