Fuel Consumption

Drive Cycle: Metric (l/100km) Imperial (mpg)
Combined: 4.9 57.6
Urban: 6.2 45.6
Extra-Urban: 4.3 65.7

If you are not getting anything close to the above than check your fuel filter, air filter and if you have the right oil in as well new oil filter.

Hello, i have a 190e 2.0 petrol, the consumption of fueel is to to high. i dont no what to do.. i have taken it to every machanic they try but still it chews fuel..... and it kip back fireing when...

Your timing is too far advanced. Loosen the distributor securement bolt and back it off a couple of degrees in timing. It isn't that it has too much compression for the starter, it's just firing way too soon to start and run.

A160 Mercedes 2001

all we can do is guess. are you willing to just throw parts at this since parts are pretty expensive. I would recommend 02 sensor sight unseen or get it diagnosed properly to be sure

Mrecedes benz A160 runs very rough when in drive or reverse.

hi,for my opinion,
  • check fuel quality (suffecient fuel supply)
  • fuel contamination (dirt,water)
  • fuel line distorted
  • engine support defective
  • air leak
  • lastly, you may perform compression test
