Question about 2000 Ford Focus
Cd player does not play and doesnt eject
To remove the radio you will either need radio removal keys (they are just U-shaped metal objects. You could use a thick metal hanger and cut 2 6 inch strips then bend them in a 'U' shape). You can buy these for about 2 dollars at Wal-Mart or on Ebay for about $1. Once you have them, there are 2 small, round holes on either side of your radio. The holes should be located on the top and bottom of each side of the stereo. Insert the 'keys' then push them outward (left and right). This will apply pressure to the metal tangs inside. As you do this, pull back on the keys and the deck will come out. From there, just unplug it. That's it! I hope this helps. Sometimes you have to look for the little plastic tabs that are hiding the holes. You can use a tiny flathead screwdriver to pop the tabs out. I hope this helps you. If so, remember to vote.
