Question about 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman
I have a 20008 Mini Clubman, just turned 2. I have always had my Itouch plugged in, may xm radio in the cig. lighter and today it kept stopping the Ipod and the CD and it reads ALARM on the radio-which switches stations every time it happens. If I put it back on CD or Ipod it pays for a while then stops again. When I left the car off for a while the radio was completely off when I started up.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. I have a 2006 Mini Cooper. Brought it into the shop. They changed out the themostat (under warranty). The service advisor said that the 2005 and 2006 Mini's had a problem with the themostat's.

SOURCE: lighter stopped working,
The Cigarette lighter is run off of a 20A fuse located in the engine compartment just behind the battery. The fuse map will say P-Out and is in position #14. Hope that helps.
