Question about 2004 Ford Mustang
The driver side power window on my 2004 mustang just stopped working. It hasn't gotten wet. There is only one fuse for both windows and the passenger side works fine. Is there something else that could have caused this to happen?
The window switches in the door can offten go bad just from sticky fingers. some times the are known to just stop working all of a sudden. it is also posible that the motor has gone bad, or more likely a bad conection at the motor or switch. the door switches on the mustangs are not the most sturdy switches. the tend to break loose and move around. u can test the motor by simply runing 12volts the the terminals on it. depending on witch terminal has power and witch has ground determins if the windo goes up or down. also check with volt meter or test light that there is power to the switch, just turn the key on and ground the test light and plug in the terminal that goes to that switch.
