I just changed fuel pump and filter in my 1999 chrysler town and country pump comes on for second then no power to pump

make sure that the old pump is likely close to new one, or see the socket of your pump may be your new one is loosen to couple of your old pump. or try to loose or remove your new fuel filter then switch at the ignition, if the fuel is continues running the problem is your fuel filter, try another new filter.

Where is the fuel filter located

usually fuel filters are located near the fuel tank under the car inline with the fuel line... on 2000 models there may also be another filter on the fuel rail by the injectors.

Using up too much gasoline

Couple of reasons - #1) in colder/winter climates car needs to run richer at start up. #2) When was last time you replaced your fuel filter? A partially clogged fuel filter and/or air filter will increase fuel consumption.

check the fuel filter connections first. If all ok, have a mechanic check it. If there is an evaporative leak, the check engine light should be on.

My 2000 chrysler town and country will not start. I removed the air cleaner and sprayed starting fluid and it fired, but it is not getting fuel. I do not have a wiring schematic, so I was wondering how...

Relay not many problems Fuel pump more so, check by disconnecting fuel supply line and turning on ignition check for fuel supply ,into empty container of course, disconnect from out let side of fuel filter first. If nothing then from inside of filter if ok filter blocked if no supply pump not working.
