To reset anti theft system, turn key on leave for about 10 to 15 minutes.after 15 minutes, turn key off. wait 15 seconds and try to start car. this should reset system.
My light wouldn't do the normal 10 min, off then start. Instead I had to do the solution above. Three cycles before it started blinking then finally went off. Thanks for that one!! As for people basically saying your an idiot, screw them lol. Factory way is already in the manual. I needed a different way. Thanks again AJ

SOURCE: dont know how to reset or bypass gm theft system car is not starting .It tries and quits.
this is one way to reset it :
first make sure the battery is fully charged , then do the following:
key in the ignition but do not crank the motor, just leave it at the
ignition mode for ten minutes ,then turn it off POSITION for 5 seconds then REPEAT again 2 more times. at the 3 rd time youre gonna notice the ANTI THEFT light on dash to blink. when doing the last step , remove key , inserted again and turn on motor , good luck , AJ

If you have key numbers on the door, you should enter the code, then immediately start the truck. If this does not work contact the dealer for a sequence to reset the alarm.

With the car RUNNING cut the yellow wire to the ignition switch from the group of three wires.
Make sure the car is RUNNING when the wire is cut.
Tape the ends and thats it.....the car will start first time from now on....as long as you don't mind not having anti theft.
